This spiritual formation developed by Evangelical Catholic helps to equip those in search of the next step on their path as a disciple of Christ. The goal is to help people discover how they are being called to serve others using their God-given gifts. For individuals who are already beyond the beginning stages of formation and feeling a call to serve Christ in his mission, this is for you!
Reach More 12-week sessions are planned and scheduled a couple times each year.
THE MISSION
We are called to become disciple-makers and lead others to Christ! Here’s what’s needed: a faith-filled heart for the world, a prayerful outreach to people around you, solid habits of prayer and reading scripture, a meaningful sacramental life, and essential tools for mission. Reach More provides the tools!
With the help of Evangelical Catholic’s plan, our parish has identified and trained members of our faithful to lead these formative trainings. Participants are invited into a small group community and one-on-one spiritual mentoring.
Discipleship and journeying with others in faith means building “Apostolic Friendships.” More than just leading or participating in a facilitated group, this ministry is modeled directly after Christ’s example of inviting individuals to be formed and sent to carry out his mission in the world. Jesus has deep love and a unique relationship with each of his disciples, including you and me! We are called to do the same for others.

HOW REACH MORE WORKS:
MEET WITH CLERGY OR PASTORAL STAFF
Discuss your readiness to join a Reach More group and register for our next Reach More group.
ATTEND WEEKLY MEETINGS
This training runs for 12 consecutive weeks in a small group format. You will receive a workbook and walk in faith and fellowship with others in your group.
ONE-ON-ONE MEETINGS
Meet with another faithful person from the parish to discuss life and prayer as you walk in faith together.
LEARN TO DISCERN HOW GOD IS CALLING YOU TO SERVE
You will go through a process of discernment about how God is calling you to use your unique gifts to bring the Good News to others.
COMPLETE THE REACH MORE TRAINING
Take what you’ve learned and, with spiritual guidance and ongoing One-on-One check-ins, apply it to the real world and your calling in faith.
