Our parish has developed protocols for those on strict gluten-free diets and those avoiding excess gluten. We have Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Eucharist who are specially trained to offer the safest options for our Celiac and gluten-free parishioners.
Due to the strict measures in place to ensure the safety of those needing to receive Eucharist in this way, it is best to contact us ahead of time for full details (email Amy at amy@akseas.net) or speak to the Sacristan at least 10 minutes before Mass begins. Please note that the Gluten-Intolerant Eucharist option may not be available at all Masses, depending on whether there is a trained EM present. Thank you for your understanding!
