START AT THE BEGINNING
What is the meaning of life? Why are we here? Alpha means “the beginning,” which is a great place to begin answering these questions; an entry point into the faith.
Everyone can benefit from learning or getting back to the fundamentals of God’s purpose for us and the world. Through open and friendly group meetings that include videos, learning materials, and discussion, you will come to a better understanding of Christ’s love for you.
These discussion-format, non-judgmental meetings offer a place for you to ask all your big questions about the faith.
More than 20 million people have joined Alpha in 100 countries and in more than 100 languages. Be a part of this growing exploration of the faith as you learn about God’s love through friendship.
Alpha is a 11-week study that meets weekly. Sessions are scheduled throughout the year, based on need.
THE MISSION
God’s Word teaches us how to gain freedom from sin and make healthy, positive changes in our lives.
The good news is that with the help of the Holy Spirit, all of this is possible! All it takes is your willingness to hear and open your heart to the love Christ offers.
You’ll build friendships for the journey and discuss important questions about our beliefs to help build the most important friendship of all - one with Christ.
This ministry will help provide a starting point for you as you heed God’s call to learn more about the faith.

MEET ONCE PER WEEK FOR 11 WEEKS WITH YOUR ALPHA GROUP
Each meeting opens with a meal, followed by a video episode on a question of faith, and then group discussion. Learning materials are provided during each session.
SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS AND HEAR FROM OTHERS
Discuss the topics in a welcoming environment.
CONNECT WITH OTHERS ON THE JOURNEY
Walk in the companionship of others - you are not alone!
ATTEND A ONE-DAY GETAWAY
During the course of the 11-week series, you are invited to a one-day retreat to reflect on everything you’ve learned.

I can honestly say that now, in my twelfth turn as an Alpha facilitator, I am amazed that I still learn something new each time I view the videos which explore many of the mysteries and precepts in the Christian faith through historians, theologians, priests and pastors. Other Alpha participants over the years have become dear friends because we encourage, listen to, learn from, and love one another. This faith journey through Alpha is forging in me great inner riches as I traverse this path called life. I look forward to an even greater connection to the Lord with my thirteenth session of Alpha.”
